I'm so so happy with the device! It arrived within 3 weeks (I live in Greece) and the tracking process was pretty accurate. Everything went smoothly with no extra costs. I've been using it for a week now and since I've been so used to having an iphone 8, I just love the freedom an android device has to offer. I'm having so much fun configuring everything. Although it said it came pre-equipped with apkpure store, mine didn't have it, but that was no problem for me since I worked my way around it by installing the apps I wanted through ADB, which I prefer. The thing I cared about most was spotify, since I use it heavily on the daily, and so far so good! I also has no issues with calls (I manually added VPN settings). The only thing I noticed with the calls, is that when both the caller and the reciever talk at the same time, the sound cuts a little, but that's fine. Over all I'm soooo happy with my purchace and I have already seen an improvement in my mood and the use of my free time. It's the perfect balance of modern and nostalgic-retro vibes for me!

I LOVE my new phone! I ordered to the US, and it took about 2 1/2 weeks to arrive (which was pretty shockingly fast imo). I emailed asking about customs/extra charges, and the team got back to me quickly. They were very kind in explaining how it all works, as it was my first time ordering something like this. The phone itself is beautiful. I got the refurbished version, but i would barely guess that it was ever used. It took a while to get it set up, but it works perfectly. Definitely buy from Y2K!!! Checkout is easy and trustworthy, customer service is quick and kind, and the phones are in great condition :) (They say this all over the website, but make sure to check if you can get service if you’re in the US!! Some of these phones aren’t supported. This one can be covered by Mint Mobile)

I’m so happy with the A20KC. It came within the stated delivery time (14 days). It was easy to switch to English and start using. I got a cheap Mint Mobile plan and it seems to work fine. Make sure you do the APN settings. There are some good YouTube videos for setting up the phone. Order went very smoothly and I would definitely order from Y2K Phones again!

Works great for my purposes. Since the phone is Japanese, some of the regionlocked functions do not work (eg. weather). Custom apps have to be sideloaded on - Y2Kphones already sideloads an app store onto the phone, but I mostly sideloaded the apps I want as separate APKs from my computer.
Using custom apps built for more powerful phones drains the battery quicker than it would otherwise last - it can still go a couple days without charging. The apps I use that work fine are:
- Discord
- Whatsapp
- QUIK SMS (normal SMS does not chain messages)
- Fennec (Firefox - pretty slow and prone to crashing)
- TT9 (phone's default keyboard does not support traditional T9 typing, which is much quicker than the alternative)
- NewPipe (youtube client)
Camera is better than my old phone, which isn't saying much. SD card is not recognised by the phone despite being reformatted multiple times. Maybe it's the size or brand of the SD card, but it doesn't matter enough to me to fix it right now - it works fine without. It's great to use and makes people laugh. Would recommend!
I was worried at first because the shipping tracker did not update for 2 weeks. After that time, the phone was delivered, so I was happy.
If you want to run heavy apps like Instagram, Maps (google suite does not work on the phone allegedly) or TikTok you might have problems. But for staying in contact with people, I love it.
