Shipping Timeframes
We offer free worldwide shipping on all orders. Delivery generally takes 7 to 14 business days from the date of dispatch, depending on your location.
Please note the following:
- This timeframe does not include our order processing period of 1 to 5 business days
- All international orders are subject to customs clearance, which may affect delivery times depending on your country's procedures
- Y2KPHONES is not responsible for delays caused by local delivery companies or customs processes
Order Processing
Once payment has been approved, your order will enter our processing stage, which takes between 1 and 5 business days. During this time, your device is tested, quality checked, and carefully packaged for shipment.
Shipping and Handling
We ship internationally from our partner facilities in China and the United Kingdom. Depending on the product and stock availability, orders are dispatched from either our restoration and fulfilment partners in China, where devices are sourced, inspected, and refurbished, or from our UK stock location for faster delivery to certain regions.
All orders include free worldwide shipping and come with full tracking details, which are emailed to you within 1 to 5 business days of purchase. This allows you to follow your parcel from dispatch all the way to your door.
Once dispatched, orders are handled by Royal Mail, SunYou, 4PX, or Singapore Post, depending on the destination. Upon arrival in the destination country, parcels are transferred to a local courier for final delivery, and a new local tracking number is assigned. This will be accessible through the tracking link provided in your shipping confirmation email.
Our international logistics network enables us to deliver to customers in over 60 countries. Every device is securely packaged and handled with care from the moment it leaves our facility to the moment it arrives at your door.
Accuracy of Shipping Information
It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that all shipping information provided at checkout is accurate and complete. This includes your full name, delivery address, postcode or ZIP code, and any additional delivery instructions.
If we identify a potential error in your shipping details, we may contact you to confirm before dispatching your order. However, if an incorrect, incomplete, or undeliverable address results in a delay, misdelivery, or loss of parcel, Y2KPHONES cannot be held liable.
If your parcel is returned to us as a result of an incorrect address, we will offer one of the following resolutions:
- Reship the order to the correct address, subject to additional shipping fees
- Issue a refund once the returned item has been received and confirmed at our facility
We require clear tracking confirmation that the item has arrived back at our facility before processing any refund or reship.
By placing an order, you confirm that the shipping details provided are accurate and complete.
Customs, Duties and Taxes
We ship to every country worldwide. Please be aware that your country's customs authority may apply import duties, taxes, or additional fees upon the arrival of your parcel. These charges are not included in our product prices and are entirely the responsibility of the customer.
To help minimise the likelihood of additional charges, we declare our packages as low-value items. Whilst this reduces the risk of fees being applied, any import charges that are assessed remain the sole responsibility of the buyer. We are unable to estimate or cover these costs as they vary by country and are determined by local customs authorities.
Customs Clearance Delays
Customs clearance is one of the most common causes of delays for international shipments. Every international order must pass through customs upon arrival in the destination country, and clearance times can vary significantly depending on the country, time of year, and volume of parcels being processed.
Delays may occur for any of the following reasons:
- High parcel volumes at customs
- Random parcel inspections
- Requests for additional documentation
- Pending assessment of taxes or import duties
Once your parcel has entered the customs system of your country, Y2KPHONES is not responsible for any resulting delays. To reduce the risk of additional charges, we declare all items at a low value. However, delays remain possible regardless of declared value.
Please note that our estimated delivery timeframe of 7 to 14 business days applies to transit after dispatch and does not include potential delays caused by customs clearance.
If your parcel has been held in customs for more than 10 business days, we recommend contacting your local customs office directly. You are also welcome to reach out to us at support@y2kphones.com and we will assist where we are able to.
Uncollected or Held Parcels
In countries where customs collection or clearance fees are required, it is the customer's responsibility to ensure the parcel is collected and that any applicable fees are paid promptly to secure release of the package. Failure to do so may result in the parcel being returned to sender, held indefinitely, or destroyed by the customs authority.
Y2KPHONES accepts no liability for any loss, destruction, or non-delivery resulting from a customer's failure or refusal to pay customs charges or collect their parcel from the relevant authority. It is the customer's responsibility to be fully aware of and compliant with the import regulations applicable to their country prior to placing an order.
Unclaimed or Refused Deliveries
If a delivery is refused by the customer or a parcel is not collected within the required timeframe, the following terms apply:
- Destroyed Shipments. If a parcel is destroyed because the customer refused delivery or failed to collect it, no refund will be issued. In some circumstances, we may be able to claim partial reimbursement from our shipping partners. If successful, any amount recovered will be passed on to the customer after the deduction of any fees incurred.
- Returned Shipments. If a parcel is successfully returned to our facility, a refund will be issued minus all shipping costs, including any return fees charged by the courier.
- Customs Duties and Taxes. Y2KPHONES is not responsible if a customer refuses delivery due to customs charges. All applicable duties and taxes are the customer's responsibility and were communicated prior to purchase.
Please ensure you are available to receive your order and that you are fully aware of your local import requirements before placing an order.
Third-Party Tracking Applications
Y2KPHONES does not use, manage, or provide support for third-party tracking applications such as the Shop App. Whilst these applications may automatically import order information, they frequently display inaccurate or delayed shipping statuses, particularly for international shipments.
For the most accurate and up-to-date tracking information, customers must use the tracking link provided in their shipping confirmation email or visit the carrier's official website directly. Y2KPHONES is not responsible for any inaccuracies, delays, or discrepancies displayed by third-party tracking platforms.
Post-Delivery Responsibility
Once your order has been delivered to the address provided at checkout, responsibility for the parcel transfers to you as the customer. Delivery is considered complete once the courier provides official confirmation, which may include a delivery timestamp, GPS data, or photographic evidence.
We understand that parcels are occasionally left in locations that are not ideal. If you believe your parcel has been delivered incorrectly or left in an unsafe place, we recommend contacting your local courier directly as they will be best placed to assist you quickly.
Please note that Y2KPHONES is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage that occurs after a parcel has been marked as delivered. That said, we will always do our best to support you in resolving any issues with your delivery provider.
Tracking Support
If your tracking link is not yet active, please allow 24 to 72 hours from the time of dispatch for the tracking information to update. This is normal for international shipments.
If you have not received an active tracking update after 7 business days from your dispatch notification, please contact us at support@y2kphones.com and our team will investigate on your behalf.
