minimalist phone (o゜▽゜)o☆

I'm pretty happy with the phone, it's really helpful that it comes with the apk pure so you can donwload your fav apps, I've been running whatsapp, twitter and spotify with it, sometimes IG too. For someone who doesnt enjoy too much social media and only use a phone a bit its a great choice. My only complaint it's kinda funny cause this model it's recent than the 601sh and it doesn't got the cruiser EX feature (T9 touch pad) so lol why aquos would do that? anyway you can use ATVT app for pointer and use it with apps (btw y2k guys install ATVT so look for it at tools section :3) overall it's a nice phone ty Y2K for being pretty helpful with the shipment you guys really simplify that part, worth my $ and again im pretty happy with my keitai flip phone ♪(´▽｀)

Lightweight and archaic phone

This is my very first flip phone, and also my first 'keitai' (Japanese feature phone). It perfectly matches the shonen aesthetic, and the green color is my favorite, which is a big plus.

Now for the second part: the Android 8.1 operating system is quite slow compared to more updated versions like 10. This causes a bit of inconvenience, but it's still usable for essential functions. For French users, I recommend first downloading a traditional T9 keyboard for easy one-handed typing in your native language. The keitai comes with APKPure pre-installed, which greatly helps in finding applications. However, Google apps and tools don't seem to work, so I also recommend looking for apps that function well without needing a mouse pointer for full functionality (WhatsApp, for example, works fine). There are also many layers in the interface that are difficult to avoid, but they can be hidden in the notification settings if you don't read Japanese.

A significant drawback is that the screen had a few dead pixels. While the phone case is in fine condition, it has small scratches on the corners, and the front screen is easily scratched. It would be great to have a clear protective case available.

Lastly, as a second phone for a 'screen detox,' it's a nice choice, but probably not an absolute must-have. To use mobile data, be sure to set your APN and MMS services as provided by your carrier. This information is usually easy to find online or from a friend who has the same carrier.

Extremely Disappointing Device

The phone is extremely slow, even slower than the Sharp Aquos 601SH, which is an older model. Pre-installed apps crash constantly, basic features like mouse support are missing, and there is no button to snap the phone open, a baffling design flaw for a foldable.

To make matters worse, customer support has been unhelpful, offering nothing but repeated advice to factory reset, which did nothing to resolve the issues.

Since im seeing only 5 Star Reviews, the Support will probably delete this Review, even though its the truth and i even sent a video.

We appreciate your feedback, but we need to clarify a few points regarding your experience with the Sharp 805SH.

First, the issue you described with the slow software is a common and minor glitch with keitai devices and can be easily resolved by performing a factory reset. We recommended this multiple times, but despite claiming to have reset the device, the pre-loaded apps remained intact, a clear indication that the reset was not actually performed. If the device had been reset, all pre-loaded apps, including APKPure, would have been removed.

Furthermore, the video you provided only showed you opening the APKPure store with no issue, which showed no fault and confirms that the device had not been reset as instructed. This is why we continued to advise the factory reset as the necessary solution to resolve the software issue.

Regarding missing features, the 805SH was never advertised as having mouse support or a press-to-open button. These are not design flaws but simply features that this model does not include. Out of the 30+ flip phones we sell, only one model currently offers those specific features. Despite this, we preloaded your device with a mouse app, which was visible in the video you sent us.

In terms of our support, we have been responsive and patient throughout our communication with you, consistently recommending the factory reset to address the minor software glitch. This remains our recommended solution.

my childhood dream phone

actually it only takes 10 days to arrive in Indonesia. It's just that it was held up at customs for quite a long time. The flipphone itself is very good, like new. I am very happy that finally my childhood dream has come true. Thank you y2kphones.
